Marine Electronics Sales Specialist

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and driven Marine Electronics Sales Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is personable, motivated, and experienced in sales — particularly within the marine electronics industry. Preferred Experience

2+ years of sales experience, ideally in the marine electronics industry.

Essential Responsibilities

·         Sell marine electronics products, equipment, and services while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

·         Assist customers in identifying the best products for their needs and guide them through the entire sales process — from initial contact through project completion.

·         Travel throughout the Tri-County and South Florida area to visit marinas, boat dealerships, and industry partners to promote products and generate new business opportunities. Occasional travel within Florida may also be required.

·         Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and industry professionals.

·         Participate in trade shows, marina events, broker gatherings, and other networking opportunities within the marine industry.

·         Prepare quotes, negotiate pricing, and help design integrated marine electronics systems including radar, GPS, sonar, autopilot systems, and more.

·         Collaborate closely with technicians to help ensure projects are completed successfully and clients remain informed throughout the process.

·         Stay current on industry trends, customer demand, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.

·         Provide marketing and promotional support as needed.

·         Continue developing technical expertise by attending manufacturer workshops and training sessions.

·         Maintain sales goals while delivering excellent service and long-term customer satisfaction.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

·         Previous marine electronics experience is strongly preferred.

·         Familiarity with leading marine electronics brands such as Garmin, Raymarine, Furuno, and Simrad is a plus.

·         Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.

·         Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities.

·         Self-motivated with strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.

·         Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

·         Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

·         QuickBooks experience is a plus.

·         Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

·         Previous charter or boat captain experience is helpful.
